The indictment obtained by Chen Lin and his lawyer showed that Zhang Jingjing suffered a tear in the knee joint capsule of her left lower limb and a torn and ruptured medial collateral ligament in her knee, which was determined to be a minor injury. The indictment stated that "Li Qiming drove over the speed limit... while driving in front of Yibai Supermarket in the living area, he knocked down Chen Xiaofeng (wearing roller skates) and Zhang Jingjing from behind. Li Qiming continued to drive towards Xinya Building. In the direction of the car, he did not stop when passing the incident site and was stopped by the guard at the south gate of the living area. "Li Qiming violated the "Road Traffic Safety Regulations" and caused a major accident by driving a motor vehicle while drunk and exceeding the speed limit. One person died and another was slightly injured, and he ran away after the accident. He violated the provisions of Article 133 of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China.
